We co-funded Sense of Spirits with a shared desire to offer a new tasting experience and allow people to discover different sides to the Cognac story.
As often in the Charentes region, new trends require out-of-the-box thinking combined with a strong command of the art of distilling, ageing and blending.
Founder & Shareholder
Born and raised in a family distillery in Cognac, Guillaume has been marked by his French heritage of elegance and creativity. By holding management positions in a high-tech company, Guillaume acquired a unique know-how in strategy and marketing. Guillaume is a graduate of the ITM Business School and passed the WSET Level 2 award in spirits.
Managing Director & Founder
Finesse, taste and a great sense of business and culture define Maia. In addition, Maia has extensive international experience in taxation and accounting in the luxury sector and has strong entrepreneurial skills. She is a graduate of SciencesPo, Paris - a world-renowned university in social sciences and passed the WSET Level 2 award in spirits.
Master Blender & Head of Production
Distillation expert, spirits consultant and wine producer, Thierry is a passionate oenologist with immense expertise in the fields of grape production, winemaking, distillation, ageing, blending and storage. He is internationally recognized by vineyard owners and is also a visiting professor at the University of eaux de vie.
